Block #8...done

I've gotten block #8 finished. The urn took quite a while because of the fussy reverse applique.

I placed red behind the three main flowers...and peach behind the urn. I added the circles on the urn with applique, but wish I had done them the same as the rest of the urn. The dark fabric shows through them a bit?

You may want to keep that in mind when you do your block?

I was asked how I'm getting these blocks done so fast and I'm convinced it's because of the way I prep my applique. Here's a link to a little tutorial I did when doing the Princess Feather quilt.
