I finished another one, number seven.

Flower Garden is growing

Until now I have six flowers done. One of you asked for an overview of all blocks until now. It is hard to catch the colors properly, but I tried!

My fifth block is ready, it's another flower for My Garden!

Fourth Block (again)

First of all I want to say thank you for all the nice comments and advice you gave me on my fourth block. I wasn't satisfied about it, so after a week of tossing it around and around (in my mind) I decided to rip some of the parts and redo them.
This is the result, in my opinion much better!

I think it fits in much better!

Fourth Block

This afternoon I finished my fourth block. As I am not quite satisfied about it, I ask for your opinion. I don't like the colour combination, the orange with the bulb below is ... I don't know. I think about doing it again (I have plenty of background fabric).

Block 2 My Garden

Yesterday I finished block 2, I'd never dream of finishing two blocks in one week, having my job and other stitching. But this is great fun, so I just go on :)

My first block

Yesterday I allowed myself to start, and this is so much fun! I finished my first block today, needleturn methode. I couln't catch the colours as they are. The leaves seem somewhat blue-ish, but in fact they are green. Maybe because dayight was gone :)

Fabrics chosen

As I am only starting in 2011, January, nothing is sure. But one thing is: I am doing this wonderful quilt on black. I love the way colours 'pop' on black. Here is a picture of the fabrics I am going to work with. I might add something, I might skip something, but probably this is it!
