My 3 yr. old granddaughter has loved helping me pull the needle through my Stars and Sprigs applique stitches (plus stitching on the machine with me). This is what her mom found her doing all on her own when she walked into their playroom today. Yes, she has her own plastic canvas and blunt plastic needle plus yarn. I think we have a soul mate and a future quilter!

Following progress?
I was wondering if there is a way to bring up all the posts from just a single participant to see their block progress. When I see a new post, I would love to be able to see their posts altogether. Does that interest anyone else? Would each post have to be labeled with their name to be able to do that? Can you retro-label posts?

New experiences!
Bear with me as although I read a lot of them, I have never posted to (except for commenting) or written a blog and I am relatively new to hand applique. But I fell in love with Kim McLean's designs and just had to try at least one and then I was so happy to find this blog! I had a pack of Leslie Riley's fabrics so that's what I used for my Lollipop block but whichever design I attempt next will be with Kaffe's. I do a lot of free motion quilting and had fun with this one. Love seeing what everyone is doing. Thanks for letting me join in the fun as I learn.
